Supporting heavy construction’s next workforce.
$850,000 and counting.
The KCA Construction Education Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the future of the heavy construction industry. Since its founding in 1988, the foundation has contributed more than $850,000 in support of students and construction education programs. These grants and scholarships have helped purchase equipment, provide scholarships and support professorships at universities, community colleges and technical colleges that offer programs related to the heavy construction industry.
Scholarship & internship opportunities.
The Foundation awards roughly $50,000 in scholarships each year to students pursuing a degree in a heavy construction-related field. Scholarship recipients can also be matched with a contractor for paid summer internships.
Golfing with a goal.
Each June, the Foundation hosts a golf tournament at Colbert Hills in Manhattan. All proceeds from the tournament support the Foundation’s work to foster construction education programs and future leaders in the heavy, highway and utility construction industry. Contributions to the ConEd Foundation are tax deductible. Learn more about our next tournament.
